Below is a case study for a project I worked on for an Adult Family Home.
Our client, Abarri Adult Family Home, approached one of our team members impressed by our prior work for an adult family home. They sought a similar website for their upcoming facility in Everett, WA, with an urgent timeline. Abarri aimed to swiftly establish an online presence showcasing their services and fostering engagement. With our expertise, we embraced the challenge, committed to delivering a user-friendly website within a short timeframe to support Abarri's expansion efforts effectively.
Our goal for the Abarri Adult Family Home project was to rapidly create a visually appealing, user-friendly website that showcased their services and matched the success of our previous adult family home projects. We aimed to meet their urgent timeline, enabling them to establish a robust online presence and engage their audience effectively, facilitating successful expansion into new markets.

As the lead designer for the Abarri Adult Family Home website, I directed the design process. My responsibility involved translating client requirements into visually captivating designs that effectively represented Abarri's services and brand identity. I ensured the timely delivery of a user-friendly interface to support their expansion efforts.
The design process for the Abarri Adult Family Home project was streamlined due
to the client's specific request to replicate a website we had previously developed for an adult family home.
This directive provided a clear direction from the outset, as I already understood the type of website they desired.
With this familiarity, I was able to dive straight into creating high-fidelity prototypes without the need for
low-fidelity iterations.
This efficient approach allowed us to save time and resources while ensuring that the
design closely aligned with the client's expectations. By leveraging our prior experience and expertise in this
niche, we were able to deliver a visually compelling and user-friendly website that effectively communicated
Abarri's services and values and met their needs in the quick turnaround period requested.
In my initial designs for Abarri Adult Family Home, simplicity took precedence. I concentrated on getting the requested pages and functionality right before refining the details in later mockups. This approach ensured a streamlined transition to more intricate designs while effectively communicating Abarri's services from the outset.
Navigating straight into high-fidelity designs for the Abarri Adult Family Home website posed a unique challenge, especially considering the tight deadline. As this approach bypassed the usual low-fidelity prototyping phase, it limited my ability to fully explore and refine ideas as I typically would. The expedited timeline meant there was little room for extensive brainstorming and iteration. Despite this, I embraced the challenge, focusing on efficiency and functionality in the initial designs. While it was a departure from my usual process, the accelerated pace demanded a pragmatic approach to ensure timely delivery without compromising quality.
The Abarri Adult Family Home project challenged me to streamline my design process and prioritize efficiency in the face of tight deadlines. While skipping the low-fidelity prototyping phase initially limited exploration, it ultimately accelerated my ability to deliver high-quality designs. This experience taught me valuable lessons in adaptability and pragmatism, enhancing my overall effectiveness as a UX designer.
